Zoopharmacognosy (Animal Self Selection)
Is a behavioural science based on observational research and is used to provide therapy for emotional, physical or behavioural conditions.
The word was coined by Dr.Eloy Rodriguez a biochemist at Cornell University. The word is derived from the ancient Greek 'zoo' (animal), 'pharma’ (remedy) and 'gnosy' (knowing).
